The 10th International Conference of the Textile Research and Technology Institute (TRTI), National Research Centre (NRC) proudly organized by the TRTI, will take place from 4–6 May 2026 at the NRC, Cairo, Egypt.

Scientists, innovators, entrepreneur, industry experts, and researchers from institutions and organizations worldwide—alongside their Egyptian counterparts —will gather at the 10th International Conference of the TRTI, to showcase groundbreaking technologies emphasizing circularity and sustainability in textiles.

This conference offers a unique platform to foster scientific and technological innovation in the textile sector, spotlighting the advancements, challenges, opportunities and cutting-edge expertise in textile processing. Discussions will also explore their impact on business opportunities while addressing social, economic, and ecological priorities.
Aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), theevent will highlight the textile industry’s role in tackling global challenges like climate change, environmental degradation, andresource efficiency. Key SDGs relevant to textiles include #3 (GoodHealth and Well-being), 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth),9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), 12(Responsible Consumption and Production), 13 (Climate Action) and 15 (Life on Land).

The conference explores the latest global advancements, technological breakthroughs and future trends, with a strong focus on contributions to the SDGs. The conference s chedule includes plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations, and industry exhibitions. Delegates are invited to submit their papers on various topics, including, among others, sustainability in the textile industry, recycling and circular economy, textile production & product quality, AI-driven manufacturing in textiles &fashion, and innovative textile processes.
