About the Conference

The Textile Research and Technology Institute (TRTI) of the National Research Centre (NRC), Cairo, Egypt, is organizing the 10 th round of its International Conference on May 4 th–6 th , 2025

The Textile Research and Technology Institute (TRTI) of the National Research Centre (NRC), Cairo, Egypt, is organizing the 10th round of its International Conference on May 4 th–6 th , 2026 at the main conference hall at the NRC.

The conference is multidisciplinary and global, with participation of leading international scientists, R&D institutions, top- level industrial management, industrialists, and service units, as well as business representatives.

Aim of the Conference:
Scientists and experts from research institutions, industry, and service units from around the world, along with their Egyptian counterparts, will meet together at the 10 th International Conference of the TRTI, NRC, to present their innovative technologies with a focus on circularity and sustainability in textile industries. The conference will provide an exceptional opportunity to promote the creativity in science and technology of textile industries. The conference event will focus on discussing the latest trends, technological advancements, and innovations in textile technology with cutting-edge expertise in the field of textile processing and the impact of all this on business opportunities, taking into consideration the social, economic, and ecological requirements.

The sustainable development Goals (SDGs) adopted by all UN member states to address global challenges, such as climate change, environmental degradation, poverty, and rational use of natural resources.
Among those goals, some are more related to the textile sector. Thetextile scientists can serve in promoting SDGs # 3 (Good Health and WellBeing), 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 9(Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), 12 (responsible Consumptionand Production), 13 (Climate Action), and 15 (Life on Land).
This event will reconnoiter cutting-edge strategies that are dealing with achieving SDGs intersecting with textile industries, from the environmental impact of textile production to the development of circular economies. It will showcase innovative digital technologies that enhance efficiency, transparency, and sustainability across the entire supply chain–from fibre production and manufacturing to consumer use and end- of-life solutions.

CONFERENCE THEME
